Cons & @BretBaier, you can hate Donald Trump, but please don’t hate math.

Look, let me start out with the fact that I like Bret Baier.
He’s a straight shooting anchor that represents the Fox News tagline, fair & balanced, very well.
So when he said ‘Ted Cruz could possibly surpass Trump in a plurality of delegates’ this morning, my mouth dropped!
In fact, I was so confused by the idiocy of that comment that I literally went online to confirm my knowledge of the definition of plurality.
Now, I know news anchors love to increase ratings, & saying something this absurd keeps Cruz voters, & people who just hate Trump, engaged, but c’mon now!
It’s fine to hate, dislike, disdain, etc etc, Trump, but please, PLEASE, for the sake of intelligent debate, do not hate math.
Look, while I will vote for Trump, I’m not on a Trump Train, or a bandwagon person.
I’m a factual guy.
I love numbers.
I love figuring out things with facts.
So, while POSSIBLE that Cruz could surpass Trump’s delegate count, the PROBABILITY of that is so ridiculously slim that it’s asinine to suggest … at least at this point.
Currently, Trump has
Even if Cruz won 14 of the next 20 contest, which includes California, we some polls show Trump has a 16 point lead (but we know how I don’t trust polls), he still doesn’t surpass Trump.

Now, all of this is NOT about touting Trump, saying he’s invincible, or even great!
THIS is about touting MATH, showing MATH is invincible & honestly, pretty friggin’ great!!!
Math 2016!

Why I get the two Donald Trump’s. #PrimaryDay #SuperTuesday

‘He’s rude!’
‘He’s a bully!’
‘He’s vulgar!’
‘He’s not very Christian like!’
That is what I hear eeeevery day from people on Twitter when stating why they don’t like Trump, & would *never* vote for him!
First of all, when it’s a choice between Trump & the criminal, serial liar, Hillary Clinton, many of these people won’t be so adamant.
Secondly, SO!
Seriously, these critiques of Trump are, in my opinion, weak, & made by people who never liked Trump in the first place.
That said, maybe it’s because I *get* Trump.
Hell, I AM Trump in many ways.
You’re reading a post by a guy who led his church basketball league in technical fouls (nearly every one of them for cursing at the ref for a call I clearly disagreed with! smh.).
My own mother doesn’t want my little brothers to play sports with me, or if they do, to be careful, because she knows I PLAY TO WIN!
I’ve had really good friends say to me “If I didn’t know you were such a nice guy, I would HATE YOU, because you’re such a DICK on the football field!”
LOL! That one still makes me laugh!
I’ve had friends who want to punch me in the face because they didn’t ‘bring it’, & I didn’t lack that lack of effort! Let’s just say that I made my displeasure VERY clear.
I’m a fighter.
I’m passionate.
I’m lacking a filter. (I’ve emailed God many times for a replacement, but no luck so far.)
I’m vulgar.
I’m intense.
I’m not afraid to say anything…and back it up!
I’m a jerk.
BUT, THAT, while me, is literally a small facet of my personality.
I am only that guy when I step onto a field, court or a competitive activity.
When that’s done, that guy is done.
No matter if I win, or lose, I go back to being the nice, kind, selfless guy I am most of the time, but I use those jerk attributes to stand up for my values, my friends & to make me successful at my job.
The people who have known me the longest will agree with this: he’s a nice, just don’t play sports with him! (haha!)
I’m learning Trump is very similar.
MANY of the people who know him personally, the longest & the closest, say he’s a very kind, gracious, good guy, not the bombastic, arrogant (another word I’ve been called, A LOT!), rude, bully, jerk we often see on the TV.

So, now you get why this side of Trump doesn’t phase me.
If it did, I’d be a huge hypocrite, & THAT is something no one has ever called me.

Trump, racism & the shrinking GOP tent.

This has been irking me for weeks now.
Actually, that word is not even strong enough, it’s really been pissing me off!!
In fact, if it were not for the fact that it’s Sunday, I’d probably use an even stronger word.
What is this ‘this’ that has so annoyed me?
Annoyed me to the point where I’m seriously considering not even voting!?
[..because voting for the current day Democrats is a complete non starter!]
It’s this baseless, ignorant charge of racism being used by CONSERVATIVES to take down someone they don’t like, & for damn sure, don’t personally know.
What makes me so angry is a multitude of things.
The first one, is that THIS is the same bullsh*t tactic the left has been using for decades which conservatives so rightfully complain about!
‘They don’t know me, so how can they call me a racist!?’
‘I’m not a racist, I just disagree with that person!’
‘Just because some conservative is racist, doesn’t make ME a racist!’
Welllll, with just a few word changes, we have the SAME argument that can be made in defense of Trump!
Yet these hypocritical jackasses [my insult, bad language count is rising when I swore I wouldn’t!] are doing the same thing simply because they want to stop Donald Trump.
‘..but Trump would be bad for America!’ is the normal tired, weak, pathetic, morally convenient excuse I get.
To me, it sounds like THEY are the real people who are bad for America.
The other thing that REALLY makes my anger rise is that *most* of the conservatives leveling this VERY SERIOUS charge are white.
No offense, but many of them have no idea what REAL racism feels like!
Many of these people have NEVER been in a place where they were the only person of their race, felt very unwelcomed, been threatened, called highly charged names, pulled over for being in the wrong neighborhood, driving ‘too nice of a car’, etc etc.
I’m not talking about ‘that one time, when…’, no, I’m talking about experiences you’ve had for years, decades, since you can remember.
Now, the black conservatives who use this charge annoy me too, only slightly less.
In my opinion, they’re weak.
Since when did WORDS, online, from some clown hurt?
Hell, I’ve had to hold my temper when someone from a visiting college (Texas aTm … which is why I STILL don’t like that school/town!) called me a ‘NIGGER!’ to my face, sooo I’m pretty sure some online buffoon isn’t gonna get me upset in the slightest.
Also, I’m pretty sure all those lynched, burned, bitten & hosed black people from generations past would have loved to have just been attacked by words from some online coward.

So, next time you conservatives go around labeling someone a racist, you should actually get some PROOF that the person is such a heinous being.

Why I cannot, & will not, call myself a Republican.

I cannot deal with a shrinking tent…and the Republican tent is shrinking, QUICKLY!
I’m a pretty opinionated person, but I’m also pretty logical & practical.
I know that I don’t, & never will, see eye to eye on every subject, with every person!
Hell, most people don’t agree with themselves on every subject.
I know I don’t.
I read more, think about it more, hear from others (normally those I agree with), and evolve.
If you do not do this, that means you have NEVER grown in life.
That’s on you, not everyone else.
Stubborn, one size fits all thought being expressed with such vitriol by many conservatives, is pushing me out of the GOP tent.
Cool. I’m fine with leaving this party.
The chicks are ugly, you’re out of alcohol & I see the cops are pulling up anyways.
(Lol … sorry, that was a gratuitous shot.)
Look, I come from a big family, with big personalities & even bigger mouths!
I’ve fought with my dad (who admits he *leans* Republican, but hates their attitude on some issues), my mom (Independent, but conservative too) & many of my brothers.
These people drive me nuts, but I don’t hate them.
They’re family.
I used to think conservatives we’re family.
I was fine with calling each other names, like we do in our family.
But what I am NOT used to are the personal attacks & hate of people you agree with, & like, 80% of the time.
We don’t disown each other, block names/numbers, unfriend oneĀ another on Facebook, etc etc.
THAT is how waaaay too many conservatives are treating other conservatives though.
Many of these people claim to love Reagan, yet Reagan was a negotiator.
He also said ‘80% of a loaf is better than no loaf at all!’
Many conservatives would rather have NO LOAF!
They’d rather starve to death, rather than invite a person who is a moderate conservative, or heck, a liberal, to the party, make friends with them, show them around, how it’s better at your party, rather than that other party of radicals, & make them friends, aka voters, for life.
THAT makes too much sense for these short sighted conservatives.
Now, I know I’m picking a fight here, but it’s a fight that needs to be had.
Being nice has gotten us nowhere, so now, let’s sit down & fight it out.
If you want a strict Constitutional party, RIGHT NOW, then I’m out.
It’s not because I don’t want that too, it’s because, it’s not going to happen … RIGHT NOW!
Nothing happens in a diverse country of 330 million people in ONE election.
It will require outreach, education & a positive attitude.
You don’t achieve outreach by being mean spirited.
You can’t educate others by being arrogant.
You can’t grow your party, & win, by playing into the main stream lie of being an exclusive, mean spirited party.

If the fate of America were not at stake, it would be funny watching the Republican party commit suicide.
So, I’m not laughing, but I’m also not going to call myself a Republican.

Good luck, & may God bless America.
